We are definitely on the countdown to departure day with the date set for our move, January 10th, help! that's next week Wednesday. The piles of boxes are rising, the clutter is descending (hopefully) and the apartment is looking pretty bare as it reverts from being a home to being a house. It is very strange to see all your belongings in boxes - and as you start to dig it out there seems to be more and more stuff, neatly hidden away, and dare I add, forgotten, in cupboards, under beds etc.
But before we leave Malaga I would like to reflect on the things that I have loved about Malaga...

But before we leave Malaga I would like to reflect on the things that I have loved about Malaga...
- Friends - including the good friends we have made at the Torremolinos International Church
- Neighbours who have become friends
- Mountains - which continuously remind me "I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."
- Sea
- Sun

I can only imagine packing up belongings after years of marriage and family. Whew!
So the 10th is it. I will be praying for you and yours. And will be seeing you in a couple of months or so! Hooray!
Our Christmas was lovely. Louissa was home for about 20 days; Jamie is still on break; we are just getting back to routine; and family time was abundant. Very wonderful indeed!
Happy packing and adventuring to your whole family!
Dear Doreen, Moving is always a chore, though I have a friend who enjoyed moving, imagine that! I met you when you visited CFA art class several months ago. How nice that you made it down to Lancaster County! We claim that place as our "home," all our family is down there, so we visit several times yearly. My in-laws live directly across from two Amish farms, and those Amish are the most diligent people on earth! They aren't on the computer like I am so they get more done! May you and your family enjoy your new home, new people, new adventures, new outreaches to Spain, for the glory of the Lord.
Dear Doreen, Today is the 15th and I just popped in to say hello and wondering how you have adjusted? We are doing well and look forward to hearing from you. Love your blog Kathy
